The environmental policy of our company has as its primary goal the minimization of the environmental impacts of our activities.
Our main objectives are:
- Reducing fuel consumption during the operation of generator sets
- Reducing the electricity consumption for lighting and operation of office equipment
- Rational use of natural resources (water and paper consumption)
- Recycling of consumable materials (oils, batteries, vehicle tires) through authorized partners
- Limiting and controlling emergency risks
To achieve these objectives, ELECNET S.A.:
- Has adopted an Environmental Management System in accordance with the international standard ISO 14001:2015, which is applied to all environmental aspects of the company. The Environmental Management System is monitored, maintained, and improved through inspection, evaluation, and review programs.
- Provides adequate resources for environmental management: expertise, appropriate equipment, and trained and capable personnel.
- Establishes environmental objectives, the implementation of which is reviewed and evaluated at regular intervals. At the same time, systematic measurements are made, and critical parameters and processes are assessed to eliminate or reduce negative environmental impacts.
- The continuous improvement of the company’s operation and the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System, as well as our compliance with applicable Environmental Legislation, is a commitment from the company’s management, based on the active participation and support of all employees.
